Cheryl Cole wants to become an owner of the football team

Cheryl Cole, one of the Girls Aloud singers and the wife of Chelsea midfielder Ashley Cole, claimed that she would like to buy football team Newcastle United (Newcastle is Cheryl’s native town).

Newcastle, which has left Premiership (England's main soccer league) by the end of the previous season, is currently facing financial problems. The team’s owner Mike Ashley has already claimed he was ready to sell the football club for £100 million. Speaking about this situation, Cheryl Cole said: « If I had that kind of cash, I would pay it».

Currently, Cheryl Cole is working on her solo album. The first single from it was recorded in collaboration with British R'n'B star Taio Cruz. According to the rapper, this song will be «an absolute club banger».

Another song for Cole’s upcoming album was recorded together with Black Eyed Peas’ frontman Will.I.Am. Cheryl also claimed that she has asked Take That member Gary Barlow to create a track for her new disk.
