Candidates for Shortlist Prize award were named. This award is given to acts that have sold fewer than 500,000 albums. The winner is chosen by the special panel of judges, this year among them are Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol and Ronnie Vannucci of The Killers.

They named ten finalists, among them are Arcade Fire, MIA, Justice and so on.

The winner will be announced in February. Previous winners include TV On The Radio, Cat Power and Sigur Ros.
