BRIT Awards nominations announced

The nominations for the BRIT Awards 2009 have been announced. Both Coldplay and Duffy have got most nominations of all, being nominated for 4 awards each.

Coldplay and Duffy will compete for British Album and British Single awards. Coldplay may also win British Group and British Live Act awards, while Duffy was nominated for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act.

BRIT Awards ceremony will take place on February 18 in London. The full list of nominees is:
