Bon Jovi became the biggest earning touring act of the year in US
Dec 12, 2010John Bon Jovi and his band have topped the list of the artist who earned the biggest amount of money through their US tours in 2010. Bon Jovi played 69 concerts and grossed about $146.5 million.
U2 became second with 22 gigs and $131.5 million, followed by AC/DC who earned $122.6 million through 28 concerts.
The Top-10 also features Lady GaGa, The Black Eyed Peas, The Eagles, Metallica, Dave Matthews Band, Paul McCartney and folk rock duo of James Taylor and Carole King.
Bon Jovi topped the list for the second time in three years – previously, only The Rolling Stones managed to do it.
