Blur will "close" London Olympic Games

Blur revealed that they will headline special concert in London's Hyde Park that is set to mark the end of 2012's Olympic Games. The band's frontman Damon Albarn claimed that since announcement he considers Blur "to be closing the Olympics".

Entitled Best Of British, the show is also set to feature New Order and The Specials. More acts will be announced later.

Yesterday Blur delivered the longest performance in history of Brit Awards. Damon Albarn and his bandmates closed ceremony with 11-minute set. Nobody was given so much time at the event before. They performed Song 2, Parklife and Tender.
