Blur have performed their fist gig after the reunion this spring. The band choose East Anglian Railway Museum near Colchester for its concert, which became the first performance by the Blur’s original line-up in nearly ten years, after guitarist Graham Coxon left the band in 2002.

Blur announced their reunion last year. The band split up in 2003 after releasing seven albums: Leisure (1991), Modern Life Is Rubbish (1993), Parklife (1994), The Great Escape (1995), Blur (1997), 13 (1999) and Think Tank (2003).

Blur also will release a new compilation this week. The double-CD edition is named Midlife: A Beginners Guide To Blur and features 25 songs covering the band’s history. According to the official statement, new compilation is «an introduction for the young ones who might have missed out on Blur's prolific recording career».
