Blur are going to set Brit Awards record

Feb 02, 2012
Blur are going deliver the longest performance in history of Brit Awards. Damon Albarn and his bandmates will close upcoming ceremony – that takes place this night in London – with 11-minute set. Nobody was given so much time at the event before.

Brit Awards will also feature performances by Coldplay (who will open the ceremony), Adele, Jessie J, Ed Sheeran, Noel Gallagher, Rihanna and others.

It was also announced that Coldplay frontman Chris Martin will perform two duets – with Rihanna and Noel Gallagher.

Blur have premiered entirely new track. Titled Under The Westway, it was unveiled last week during their performance at War Child's charity gig in London. Before playing the track Blur frontman Damon Albarn claimed that it was written "on the road from here a few weeks ago".
