Blink-182 worked on a new album apart from each other
Sep 09, 2011According to Mark Hoppus, it was not an obstacle for them – moreover, it gave them the necessary tension.
"That's the tension we need in Blink-182. I think it is the way forward for us. In the past, you’re recording your parts while the other guys are sitting around waiting and this way enables each of us to explore every single idea we might have, in our own time", claimed bassist.
"To me Neighborhoods sounds like a combination of all our records, there are songs that could have been on Dude Ranch, there are songs that could have on our 2003's self-titled record. Overall, it combines everything we've done before and takes a step forward after that", added Hoppus.
Earlier Blink-182 already revealed that Neighborhoods will feature 10 tracks. Deluxe edition will be released along with standard one – it is set to include three additional compositions: Kaleidoscope, Fighting The Gravity and Heart's All Gone.
