Blink-182 think some fans will dislike their new album

Blink-182 bassist Mark Hoppus urged fans not to expect much from the band's upcoming album Neighborhoods. Musician said that the record "certainly is not perfection" and that some people may be dissatisfied with it.

"I'm very proud of the record as a whole. Expectations are giant for this album and that's a huge honour. People are excited about our band even after eight years of not having a new CD. That said, there are going to be some people who are like "This record sucks". I am sure there will be some", claimed bassist.

Mark Hoppus added that it may happen because some fans do not want Blink-182 to evolve: "There are some people out there that just want What's My Age Again? Blink-182 running around just being silly and screaming and whatever. We have always tried to keep our heads down and do our own thing".

Earlier Mark Hoppus described Neighborhoods as a "step forward" for the band.

"To me it sounds like a combination of all our records, there are songs that could have been on Dude Ranch, there are songs that could have on our 2003's self-titled record. Overall, it combines everything we've done before and takes a step forward after that", said Hoppus.

Blink-182 already revealed that Neighborhoods will feature 10 tracks. Deluxe edition will be released along with standard one – it is set to include three additional compositions: Kaleidoscope, Fighting The Gravity and Heart's All Gone.
