Blink-182 reunited because of plane crash

Oct 10, 2011
Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker claimed that the band's reunion happened because of the plane crash he suffered in 2008. Musicians have split up in 2005 after guitarist Tom DeLonge decided to leave. But after the catastrophe he and bassist Mark Hoppus came to support Barker – and, according to the drummer, it has put them back together.

"When we look back now, after my crash when Tom and Mark finally came to my house, about thirty seconds went by and Tom and Mark are telling jokes. You realize how petty some of the things were we were all fighting over", claimed he.

Earlier Travis Barker claimed that he still has a fear of flying. "Unfortunately I can't do as much touring as I would like because I don't fly. It's an obstacle. I'm working on it though. I'm trying to get hypnotised, trying to talk to a doctor who retrains your brain", said he.
