Oct 10, 2011Drummer claimed that this phobia is a big obstacle in his life of musician and that he even considers using hypnotherapy to deal with it.
"Unfortunately I can't do as much touring as I would like because I don't fly. It's an obstacle. I'm working on it though. I'm trying to get hypnotised, trying to talk to a doctor who retrains your brain", said he.
Earlier Blink-182 bassist Mark Hoppus spoke about the work on the band's new album Neighborhoods. According to his words, they were not in studio together while recording it: he and drummer Travis Barker laid down their parts in Los Angeles, while guitarist Tom Delonge did his part of work in San Francisco.
According to Mark Hoppus, it was not an obstacle for them – moreover, it gave them the necessary tension.
