Blink-182 are working on their next album

Blink-182 bass guitarist Mark Hoppus revealed that the band has already begun the work on its next studio album. According to his words, while guitarist Tom DeLonge is busy touring with his side-project Angels And Airwaves, he and drummer Travis Barker are writing songs for upcoming record.

Mark Hoppus also denied reports that he is going to start side project too: "I'm sure these will all be Blink-182 songs at the moment. I don't have any plans to write songs with anybody else right now. If I do, it'll be a collaboration or a one-off thing, but everything I'm writing right now is for Blink-182".

Mark Hoppus added that he does not know when the band will begin recording the new album.

Blink-182 released their previous studio effort Neighborhoods in September 2010.
