Black Sabbath named contract demands of their drummer "a joke"

Black Sabbath guitarist Geezer Butler compared contract demands of the band's drummer Bill Ward to a joke. Earlier this month Ward announced that he will not take part in Black Sabbath reunion tour because he does not like the terms of his agreement.

Geezer Butler, in his turn, said that the problem is not in contract, but in Bill Ward himself: "Apparently, this wasn't acceptable to Bill's representatives; they wanted an amount that was so unrealistic that it seemed to have been a joke. So we resigned ourselves to go without Bill, hoping he'd change his mind and at least make a guest appearance".

Recently Black Sabbath announced plans to release new best hits compilation. Titled Iron Man: The Best Of Black Sabbath, it is set to hit the stores in June. The album will feature all famous songs by the band, such as Iron Man, War Pigs, Changes, Paranoid and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.

Deluxe edition of Iron Man: The Best Of Black Sabbath is also set to hit the stores. It will contain a bunch of additional materials, including DVD with live footage and a collection of rare photos.
