Black Sabbath drummer will release solo record

Apr 04, 2009
Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward revealed that he was working on his third solo album. The record is titled Beyond Aston, and, according to Ward’s words, it will feature «real loud» and «dark» music.

Ward said: «The stuff that I’m doing right now is certainly loud. This is a result of some of the more powerful music, a lot of really big chords and a lot of dark notes and I just got influenced by Black Sabbath».

Ward added that he was going to release new album until 2009.

His debut solo album, Ward One: Along The Way, hit the stores in 1990. It was followed by When The Bough Breaks in 1997.
