Biffy Clyro nearly finished new album

Jun 06, 2011
Members of British rock band Biffy Clyro revealed that they have almost finished the work on their next studio effort. According to frontman Simon Neil, they have already found the right sound for the record, so they just need to make to "tune up" all songs.

"We know what kind of album we're going to make. We know how it's going to play out, the structure of it. It's just a case of getting it done. We just need to tune up our songs", said he.

Simon Neil also said he could not understand musicians who go on hiatus for several years. "Bands have to keep moving forward. Any band that sits for a few years not writing songs is in trouble", claimed he.

Singer added that new songs are different from the music Biffy Clyro have played before. "We're always going to be a rock band, it's always going to be heavy, but hopefully we'll just bring different elements. It's always going to sound like Biffy Clyro", added he.

Biffy Clyro previous album Only Revolutions hit the stores in 2009.
