Beyonce has the greatest number of golden and platinum records

Beyonce has topped the recently compiled chart of the artists who released most number of golden and platinum records in last ten years. Created by RIAA, this list includes cumulative sales of albums, singles, master ringtones and music videos.

Beyonce topped the list with 64, followed by The Eagles with 46 and Michael Jackson with 44.

Recently Adele revealed that she was set to perform together with Beyonce at last year's Glastonbury festival. It did not happen because British singer canceled her appearance due to problems with vocal chords. However, according to Adele, she is still keen to work with Beyonce.

"I adore Beyonce, I've been listening to her since I was about 11. I think her work as an artist and a singer is enviable in terms of the length of her career and how she's grown and grown", said Adele.
