Best-selling singles of 21st century revealed

Evergreen by British singer Will Young topped the list of the best-selling singles of 21st century of the UK. Released in February 2002 – soon after Will Young has won TV show Pop Idol – it has grossed 1.8 million copies so far. Second place was occupied by Adele's Someone Like You, that has hit the stores in January 2011 and sold 1.35 million copies.

They are followed by Gareth Gates' Unchained Melody and The Black Eyed Peas' I Gotta Feeling. I Wasn't Me by Shaggy is fifth.

Will Young already claimed that he is "extremely happy" to top the list of the best-selling singles of 21st century.
