Beastie Boys will celebrate Barack Obama’s inauguration

Beastie Boys will perform at a special concert Hey, America Feels Kinda' Cool Again that will celebrate Barack Obama’s inauguration. Sheryl Crow and a number of other stars will also perfrom at this event.

Upcoming concert will take place on January 19. It is a charity event with all proceeds going to Rock The Vote organization that works to engage youth in the political process.

There also will be an official concert, timed to Barack Obama’s inauguration that will feature Jay-Z, Elvis Costello and Sting.

Beastie Boys’ last album The Mix-Up was released in 2007.
