Beastie Boys "miss" Adam Yauch

Beastie Boys' Mike Diamond – also known as Mike D – finally revealed the band's thoughts considering the death of Adam Yauch. In the post on his Facebbok account Mike claimed that they miss Yauch and also explained why they did not say anything so far.

"I know, we should have tweeted and instagrammed every sad, happy and inspired thought, smile or tear by now. But honestly the last few days have just been a blur of deep emotions for our closest friend, band mate and really brother. We miss Adam so much", wrote he.

Rapper has passed away on May 4. The reason of his death has not been revealed yet, but it is known that Adam was battling with cancer of the preaortic gland since 2009.

Beastie Boys – with whom Adam Yauch worked since the band's formation in 1981 – are considered to be defining acts in hip-hop music.
