Beastie Boys may release new songs

Beastie Boys revealed that before the death of the band's Adam Yauch they were working on the new material. According to Michael Diamond, they even recorded several tracks in the end of 2011. These songs may be released soon.

"Adam instigated it. It could only come from him, in terms of where he was at with his cancer treatment. He wasn't sure he was able to do vocals but after a bit we ended up doing them", revealed he.

Rapper has passed away on May 4. The reason of his death has not been revealed yet, but it is known that Adam was battling with cancer of the preaortic gland since 2009.

Beastie Boys – with whom Adam Yauch worked since the band's formation in 1981 – are considered to be defining acts in hip-hop music.
