Beady Eye's second album to be "epic"

Beady Eye frontman Liam Gallagher spoke about his view on the band's second studio effort. According to his words, the recording of the new album is set to begin in February 2012, while its release will take place next summer. He also said he would like to make "epic" effort which features "great anthems".

"We've started and it's sounding good – we're not messing about. We'll have bits of time off but we won't be sitting around watching Jeremy Kyle, we'll be in the studio", said he.

Earlier Liam Gallagher revealed details about the work on the debut album of Beady Eye. Titled Different Gear, Still Speeding, the record hit the stores in February. According to the singer, it partly featured reworked versions of the songs from Oasis era.

For example, track Roller – debut single from the record – was written in 2001. Even the band's lead guitarist and Liam's brother Noel praised it as "potentially Number One single".
