Barack Obama praised Lady GaGa

Oct 10, 2009
United States president Barack Obama praised Lady GaGa during his speech at the Human Rights Campaign official dinner. Obama said that he liked Lady GaGa’s music and claimed that he felt honored to make his speech before Lady GaGa’s performance. «It's privilege to be here tonight to open for Lady Gaga», said he.

The performance itself was unexpectedly ordinary – for example, Lady GaGa, known for her unusual clothes, was wearing a formal black dress. She sang several of her own hits, as well as a cover on Imagine by ex-The Beatles member John Lennon.

The event took place on last Saturday, October 10.

Last week Lady GaGa announced plans to release The Fame: Monster – the reissue of her debut album that will include several new songs. It is scheduled to hit the stores in November. All in all it will feature eight new songs, including the upcoming single Bad Romance.
