NEWS10.11.2009 Arctic Monkeys will release new single on vinyl Arctic Monkeys announced details of their special charity single. It will be released exclusively on vinyl and feature track Cornershop from their recent album Humbug, as well as three entirely new songs – Catapult, Sketchead and Fright Lined Dining Room.
According to Arctic Monkeys, fans who bought the single will have an opportunity to win a ticket for the band’s UK tour. The single is set to be released this month. It will be sold only through Oxfam – the international chain of charity shops. All money raised by Oxfam shops are usually donated to different charities. Cornershop will be the second single for the Humbug. The first one, named Crying Lightning, hit the stores in July. The album itself was released in August 2009.
