Arctic Monkeys will be taught music by P. Diddy
Feb 02, 2010Arctic Monkeys revealed that next month they would meet with famous US rapper and producer P. Diddy «to be taught hip-hop ways». The band’s drummer Matt Helders claimed: «We speak to him at least three times a week. We are going to Miami in a few weeks and are going to be hanging out with him. He's going to be teaching us the hip-hop ways».
Helders added that Arctic Monkeys may also record a duo with rapper. «He's a good mate, so it would be fun», said he.
Arctic Monkeys got acquainted with P. Diddy last year, when they were working on their third album Humbug. P. Diddy called himself a huge fan of the band and even expressed an intention to join it.
P. Diddy himself has recently finished new album Last Train To Paris, which is set to be released next month.
