Arctic Monkeys will be featured in Guitar Hero 5

Neversoft, the creator of Guitar Hero game series, announced the list of additional tracks for Guitar Hero 5 videogame. It includes such songs as Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit and Brianstorm by Arctic Monkeys, as well as compositions by Stevie Wonder, Dire Straits and Muse.

It was also announced that Garbage's singer Shirley Manson would appear in Guitar Hero 5 as a playable character.

Earlier it was announced that new additions for the videogame’s tracklist included songs by Blur, Kings Of Leon and Queens Of The Stone Age.

Guitar Hero 5 is set to be released on September 1 for PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360. Like the previous title, Guitar Hero World Tour, Guitar Hero 5 is set towards playing in a four-person band, giving the opportunity to play lead and bass guitar, drums and vocals.
