Arctic Monkeys spoke about recording of their third album. The band spent few weeks in Joshua Tree studio in California together with Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme.

Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders said that album may be influenced by spaghetti westerns.

He added: «I don’t know whether this desert place had much of an influence on the sounds, but it must have done across the lines because like I say, it had an effect on us».

Arctic Monkeys still did not reveal neither album title nor its release date.
