Arctic Monkeys previewed new material

Arctic Monkeys posted new footage of them rehearsing their third album on YouTube. The video shows the band playing previously unreleased song, as well as a cover on Lady GaGa's track Poker Face.

«We're just in rehearsals at the moment, in preparation for a spot of recording. We're gonna be away in New York finishing off the album, a few more songs to do. I dunno how many songs we've got to record, but we've done a few quite different songs», says drummer Matt Helders in the video.

The video also shows him and bassist Nick O'Malley walking across the center of London.

Arctic Monkeys previously posted video of them playing new song Crying Lightning on YouTube.

The band’s previous album Favourite Worst Nightmare was released in 2007.
