Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner confirmed his plans concerning debut solo album. Titled Submarine, it will hit the stores on March 14. The record will feature six tracks, all composed by Alex Turner himself.

The album was recorded as a soundtrack for upcoming movie of the same name. Based on the book by Joe Dunthorne, it tells the story about 15-years boy who is trying to accomplish two aims – lose virginity and prevent his parents from divorce.

The film was directed by Richard Ayoade (famous for his role in The IT Crowd TV-series). Ayoade also shot music videos for Arctic Monkeys' songs Fluorescent Adolescent, Crying Lightning and Cornerstone.

According to Alex Turner, the album was produced by James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco. Singer described the record as acoustic record based on guitar and piano tunes.

Tracklisting for Submarine is:
Stuck On The Puzzle (Intro)
Hiding Tonight
Glass In The Park
It’s Hard To Get Around The Wind
