Arctic Monkeys are finishing new album

Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner claimed that the band’s new album was almost ready and that yet untitled record would be released this summer. «It's 78 per cent is done, two thirds. I'm thrilled with it. We're going to have a new album with you by the summer, I think» said he.

He also spoke about Arctic Monkeys’ recording sessions with Queens Of The Stone Age's Josh Homme: « It's been great fun. We went out to the desert for a little bit, we did two sessions with Josh, we had a great time».

Arctic Monkeys previous album Favourite Worst Nightmare was released in 2007.
