Arctic Monkeys are dissatisfied with their name

Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner claimed that he is dissatisfied with the band's name. Singer said that he never liked it – but it is the only title they managed to come up with.

"This is the first band I've been in. A lot of people in bands have a few goes at it before they find the one that works but with us, we all started playing guitar and everything at the same time. There might have been other ideas for offshoots at the time, but Arctic Monkeys was the first one. It's so bad that the tribute bands don't sound worse", said he.

Arctic Monkeys recently unveiled plans to release new track Evil Twin – it will be come out as a b-side of the new single Suck It And See.

Earlier Alex Turner claimed that he feels tired of writing romantic songs. At the same time, according to his words, he cannot help himself from composing them. Talking about the work on Arctic Monkeys' last album Suck It And See, he said that songs like Piledriver Waltz were written very easy.

"I am a romantic fool, no doubt about that. I can't help myself but write those songs. I spend a bit of time sitting on the couch with an acoustic guitar – taking breaks, having a cigarette, going to the window then going back. When you do that, you end up doing a lot more of that romantic stuff, probably too much", claimed he.
