Arctic Monkeys announced new single

Arctic Monkeys revealed plans to release new single. Titled Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair, it will hit the stores on April 16. Its release is dated to Record Store Day – international holiday aimed to "celebrate the art of music" and support independent music stores.

The single will feature additional track Brick By Brick. This song is set to be included in Arctic Monkeys upcoming studio album Suck It And See.

Arctic Monkeys also announced they would play two gigs in Sheffield this summer.

Earlier Arctic Monkeys revealed that Suck It And See would feature a duo – or maybe even several duos – with Queens Of The Stone Age singer Josh Homme.

Josh Homme produced Arctic Monkeys' previous album Humbug that hit the stores in 2009.
