Arcade Fire made Florence Welch cry

Florence And The Machine singer Florence Welch revealed that she had burst into tears after meeting Arcade Fire. According to the singer, she has been so starstruck she could not control her emotions.

"I love Arcade Fire so much, ever since Funeral. I met Win Butler recently and I was so starstruck that I cried. I went to see them at the O2 Arena and I went to the afterparty and after they all came in and I met him I just started to cry", said she.

Florence Welch added that she would like to record a duo with Arcade Fire.

Florence And The Machine are currently working on their second studio effort. It will be "heavier" than their debut album Lungs, said Paul Epworth, producer of the record. He also described the band's new music as "a lot more soulful".

"It's going to be more stripped down, but it's heavy, rhymically. It's a much heavier record than the first album. It's a lot less indie and lot more soulful", claimed he.
