Arcade Fire are going to record new album

Arcade Fire leader Win Butler stated that the band may start working on its new album much sooner than fans expect. According to his words, Arcade Fire members are considering to start the recording of the new album in an upcoming month. The band may also return to performing live soon.

«None of us want to take three years making a record. It could be that we'll play live soon and maybe we'll end up bashing another album out fast. We're in the middle of writing, things are coming together, it's a great feeling», said he.

Butler added: «If you had asked me about playing live six months ago I'd be like «No, I'm good». But now I go to a gig and I get the little… I can imagine being on that stage. It's the step before you actually go and do it».

Previous album by Arcade Fire, titled Neon Bible, was released in March 2007.
