Anthrax to release new album in September

Jun 06, 2011
Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante revealed that the band has finished the recording of its next studio effort. Titled Worship Music, the album is set to hit the stores in September. Benante added that he "has got goosebumps" from this record.

"I get goosebumps listening to the new music. Scott Ian and Rob's guitars are absolutely on fire, Frankie Bello is super on bass, and hearing Joey sing, well, the band sounds like Anthrax – Joey's back and it's great", said he.

Earlier Anthrax singer Joey Belladonna claimed that Worship Music would become "most emotional" record in the band's history. He also said that upcoming effort incorporated several years of their work.

Worship Music will become Anthrax's ninth studio effort. Their last to date album We've Come For You All was released in 2003.
