Jul 07, 2010
New Michael Jackson album was announced yesterday, on July 28. It will feature previously unreleased songs by late King of Pop. The compilation will be produced by Rodney Jerkins, who is famous for his work with such artists as Britney Spears, Spice Girls, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson, Janet Jackson, Beyonce and others.

Rodney Jerkins also produced Michael Jackson's album Invincible that hit the stores in 2001.

"It's definitely going to come, but it takes time. You got to do a lot of the red tape but there's definitely going to be an unreleased Michael Jackson album", said Rodney Jerkins.

There were rumors earlier that Michael Jackson was working on the new album before his death.

Last month it was announced that the estate of Michael Jackson has generated more than $1 billion since the singer’s death in June last year. Nearly a half – $429 million – was earned through music sales. According to the reports, 9 million of Michael Jackson's albums were sold in the US only and 25 million worldwide in the last 12 months.

Michael Jackson has died from a heart attack last year on June 25 at the age of 50.
