Amy Winehouse's death was not caused by drugs
Jul 07, 2011Amy Winehouse's parents denied reports that singer's death was caused by drugs overdose. Rumors emerged earlier this week saying that singer has passed due to her addiction that she fought for several previous years. However, Amy Winehouse's father Mitch said they were not true.
An anonymous source close to the singer also told British newspapers that she was not on drugs the night when she died.
The funeral of Amy Winehouse was held yesterday, on July 26. It was visited by such persons as Mark Ronson and Kelly Osbourne.
Amy Winehouse has been found dead in her house in Camden on Saturday, July 23. The reason of her death has not been revealed yet and would not be named until results of toxicology expertise that are arriving only next month.
A lot of artists have already paid tribute to Amy Winehouse. For instance, Adele praised Amy as a person who "paved the way" for her. The list of artists who paid tribute to Amy Winehouse also includes U2, Lily Allen, Boy George, Paramore and others.
