Amy Winehouse was taken to hospital

Amy Winehouse was taken to hospital on June 16 after she fainted. «Amy was at home when she briefly fainted. Fortunately, her manager's assistant was there to stop her falling. She quickly recovered and her father, Mitch, took her to hospital as a precaution», said Winehouse’s spokesman.

Her spokesman stressed that the hospital visit was not «an emergency dash». Winehouse underwent tests at The London Clinic to see what had caused her to collapse. It was not mentioned if Amy’s illness is connected with her drugs problems.
