Amy Winehouse recorded new songs
Apr 04, 2010Amy Winehouse and British producer Mark Ronson have recorded three songs for upcoming Quincy Jones tribute album. «She did three tracks. She's doing great», said singer’s father. The album itself is set to feature covers on the songs by famous producer, who worked with Michael Jackson and Frank Sinatra.
Last year it was reported that Amy was going to record her version of the track You Don't Own Me. However, it is unknown if this track is among three songs she did with Mark Ronson.
Last week Mark Ronson claimed that Amy Winehouse’s new album would be released later this year. Singer has recorded two studio efforts so far – Frank (2003) and Back To Black (2006). She started the work on the third album several times, but there has been no information about it.
However, Mark Ronson claimed that the record is almost done. «There'll be something to hear quite soon. That's all I can say. There's something good coming», promised he.
