Amy Winehose death was not caused by drugs

Amy Winehouse's body did not contain any illegal substances at the moment of her death, announced the spokesperson for singer's family. According to his words, the results of the toxicology expertise showed that Amy's decease was not caused by drugs.

Official statement says: "Toxicology results returned to the Winehouse family by authorities have confirmed that there were no illegal substances in Amy’s system at the time of her death. Results indicate that alcohol was present but it cannot be determined as yet if it played a role in her death".

Amy Winehouse has been found dead in her house in Camden on Saturday, July 23.

A lot of artists have paid tribute to Amy Winehouse. For instance, Adele praised Amy as a person who "paved the way" for her. The list of artists who paid tribute to the singer also includes U2, Lily Allen, Boy George, Paramore and others.
