American producer sues Lil Wayne
Mar 03, 2012US producer Shondrae Crawford has filled a lawsuit against Lil Wayne and his record company Cash Money. Shondrae, also known under nickname Bangladesh, is the author of Lil Wayne's hit A Milli from 2008's album Tha Carter III. He claims that rapper and his label owe him $500,000 of unpaid royalties.
"Cash Money did not pay royalties. Tha Carter III is Lil Wayne's biggest album probably because of A Milli. You have to sue these guys so that they pay up", claimed he.
Limp Bizkit have recorded a track together with Lil Wayne – titled Ready To Go, it hit the stores this week. The release of the single is set to mark signing of the band to the Wayne's record label Cash Money.
Talking about the track, Cash Money co-founder Bryan Williams said: "It'll be a great way to let the world know that Limp Bizkit are a part of us. It's rock, but it's hip-hop-rock. I think we got that hip-hop-rock swagger".
