American Music Awards winners were named

American Music Awards ceremony was held on November 18 in Los Angeles. Tne main winners were Daughtry and Carrie Underwood, each taking three prizes. The first won the awards in «breakthrough artist», «adult contemporary» and «pop-rock album», while Carrie was awarded for «the best female country artist», «country album» (for Some Hearts) and the T-Mobile text-in award.

Two awards were won by Justin Timberlake – «male pop-rock artist» and «the soul/R&B album» for his FutureSex/LoveSounds. Another artist who win two peizes was T.I., who was named «the best male rap-hip-hop artist» and whose disk T.I. vs. T.I.P. was called «the best rap-hip-hop album».
