Alice In Chains named new album’s release date

Jun 06, 2009
Alice In Chains announced that they will release their new album this September through EMI's record label Virgin Records. Upcoming record was produced by Nick Raskulinecz who has previously worked with Rush and Foo Fighters.

The album will become Alice In Chains’ first record since singer Layne Staley's death in 2002, when he was found dead in his home after a drug overdose. The band has performed with several guest singers recently, and invited Comes With The Fall singer William DuVall to contribute vocals for this album.

«It's a big thing. I've joined a group that has a strong identity and a strong legacy», said DuVall.

Alice in Chains’s previous album, named as the band itself, hit the stores in 1995.
