Aerosmith song to be featured in US action movie

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler announced that the band has contributed a song for the soundtrack of upcoming Hollywood action movie G.I. Joe: Retaliation. The track – titled Legendary Child – is the reworked version of the composition written for Aerosmith 1993's album Get A Grip, but never officially released.

Steven Tyler added that Legendary Child is also set to be included in the band's next studio effort, which will consist of tracks written in different time but not included in any album.

Earlier American producer Jack Douglas – who is working on Aerosmith' new album – revealed some details about upcoming record. According to his words, it will be close to the band's early efforts, such as Get Your Wings or Toys In The Attic.

At the same time, he pointed that the album will be "nasty" and "raw": "For those who are asking, this album will be raw, nasty, tough rock with a good deal of the old Aerosmith".
