Aerosmith almost finished new album

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler revealed that the band has nearly finished its new studio effort. According to the musician, they want the album to hit the stores in June, to coincide with the beginning of their Global Warming tour.

"Doing a record in four months is unheard of in Aerosmith territory. It still needs to be mixed and that two more songs need to be written", said he.

Recently American producer Jack Douglas – who is working on Aerosmith' new album – revealed some details about upcoming record. According to his words, it will be close to the band's early efforts, such as Get Your Wings or Toys In The Attic.

At the same time, he pointed that the album will be "nasty" and "raw": "For those who are asking, this album will be raw, nasty, tough rock with a good deal of the old Aerosmith".
