Adele's next album will not be released in several years

Adele claimed that she is not planning to start the work on her next studio effort in the nearest two or three years. According to the singer, she has decided to "set up home" for some time.

"I'm really looking forward to some time to do nothing. I imagine I'll be 25 or 26 by the time my next record comes out, as I haven't even thought about my third record yet. I'm just gonna lay some concrete, set up home and just "be" for a bit. I'll disappear and come back with a record when it's good enough. There will be no new music until it's good enough and until I'm ready", claimed she.

Recently it was announced that Adele's second studio effort 21 was named the biggest selling album of 2011 in Britain. Moreover, the record – that was bought 3.4 million times – has become the most demanded disk of the whole 21st century in UK.

Second place for year 2011 also belongs to Adele – her first studio effort 19 that hit the stores in 2009 was sold 1.1 million copies. Bruno Mars became third with his debut record Doo Wops & Hooligans (976 000 copies).
