Adele was suggested to act in Glee

Producers behind popular USA television series Glee claimed that they have suggested Adele to make an appearance in one of the episodes. According to their words, they already considered using her songs, but wanted the singer to perform them herself.

"I don't know if Adele's an actress but I would love to hear her on Glee. It would be my extreme honor to work with her. I think her voice is from another planet. She's so amazing", said producer Matthew Morrison.

Glee is known for actors performing popular songs in each episode. The series already featured such compositions as Katy Perry's I Kissed a Girl, Kanye West's Gold Digger, Rihanna's Take A Bow and many others.

Adele's album 21 is occupying the first place in UK sales chart for nine consecutive weeks. It is the best result for female solo artist, equal to the one achieved by Madonna's The Immaculate Collection in 1990.

If 21 stays on top one week further, it will set absolute record.
