Adele has beaten Lady GaGa's record

Adele's second studio effort 21 has become the biggest selling digital album in UK. Previous record was set by Lady GaGa's The Fame and equaled 250,000 copies. However, according to the reports, 21 has passed this milestone this week.

Only By The Night by Kings Of Leon and Lungs by Florence And The Machine are also close to The Fame, but still behind it.

Earlier Adele claimed she was not surprised that 21 has become very successful. According to the singer, it happened due to her struggle to make 21 as "expressive" as possible.

"I think I deserved it. I tried to make this record very expressive, to put all my feelings in it. At the same time, I have made a huge step forward in terms of music and style", said she.
