Adele forced to scrap her US tour
Jun 06, 2011Adele already apologized to her fans and said she was "really frustrated" about it. "I'm really frustrated. I was hoping with a weeks rest I'd be better to sing again straight away. However there is absolutely nothing I can do but take the doctor's advice and rest some more. I'm so sorry", claimed she.
Last week Adele and her team topped The Guardian's annual list of the most influential persons in British music industry. Singer was placed higher than Universal Music Group CEO Lucian Grainge, who became second, and famous music and TV producer Simon Cowell, who was third.
The Black Eyed Peas' Will.I.Am was put on eleventh place, Radiohead became fourteenth, while Lady GaGa was named only eighteenth.
List creators pointed that through this year Adele's second studio effort 21 was one in every ten albums bought in the UK.
