Adele does not like to be a celebrity

Adele claimed that she has never wanted to become a famous person. Singer claimed that her only desire is to make music, while life of a celebrity and constant public attention make her feel frightened and nervous.

"I don't want to be a celebrity. I don't want to be in people's faces. I've managed to stay out of the public eye. The other day I walked through Trafalgar Square on a Sunday afternoon, a tourist haven. I was a bit worried. But nobody recognised me", revealed singer.

Adele has become the only singer mentioned in the list of the most influential people on the planet compiled by Time magazine. Its creators claimed that Adele's turning to a world-famous star has become a source of inspiration for many people.

Recently Adele promised to release several new songs within this year. At the same time, she claimed that her next album – the follow-up to 2011's effort 21 – will not hit the stores in two years.
