Adele announced live return

Adele revealed the date of her first live appearance since she had to give up performing due to vocal chord problems. Singer will go onstage at the upcoming Brit Awards ceremony to sing her chart-breaking composition Rolling In The Deep.

The event is set to take place on February 21 at London's O2 Arena. It will also feature performances by Noel Gallagher, Coldplay, Rihanna, Bruno Mars and several other artists.

Rumors also say that Adele will play at the Grammy Awards ceremony that is scheduled for February 12.

Recently it was announced that Adele's second studio effort 21 has become the top-selling record of 2011 in the US, clocking up 5.82 million copies. The effort also spent 14 weeks on the first place of Billboard sales chart – it is the second best result ever, overcome only by Titanic movie soundtrack that spent 16 weeks on top.

At the same time, Adele's song Rolling In The Deep was named the best-selling single of last year in US, being bought 5.81 million times.
